ELP’S COMMUNITY FOOD FOREST PROGRAMME
Through a series of edible planting workshops on public spaces, communities learn how to grow and consume food in a climate smart way.
Funding from Community Foundation Ireland has provided for new ELP food forests in summer 2024, with ELP again joining forces with Westport Tidy Towns.
ELP is collaborating with Trinity College Dublin and Westport Tidy Towns on the EU funded LEVERS Project. Together we're creating a National Community Blueprint for Food System Resilience, and building food forests with community groups nationally.
EU LEVERS is a Horizon Europe funded project that offers opportunities for learners of all ages to take collaborative action on climate issues affecting their own lives and localities.
