Peter is a Certified Accountant (FCCA). He has 27 years’ experience with US multinationals and since 2018 has been running his own financial consultancy business.  Peter is a current member of Mayo County Council’s Environmental Strategic Policy Committee.

Lesley Emerson has over 25 years experience in public relations and marketing, specialising in food and tourism. She runs PR West in Westport, Co. Mayo working with national and local clients on both strategy and implementation.

Deirdre is currently Head of Department of Environmental Humanities & Social Sciences at Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Mayo and Chair of ATU Mayo Green Campus.

Deirdre has held senior management positions in education and industry.

A former Chairperson of An Post, Dermot is currently Chairperson/ Director/ Shareholder of a number of private and not-for-profit companies including Strangeboat Foundation - Chairperson; Support Africa - Co-Founder; Roma Foods - Former Chairperson and Major Shareholder; Allegro - Former Executive Chairperson and Major Shareholder; Gateaux - Former Sales and Marketing Director.

Dr Michelle Cowley-Cunningham

 Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and an Associate Fellow of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Dr Michelle Cowley-Cunningham is a lecturer at DCU Business School  with postdoctoral research affiliation, her research focuses on the psychology of children's health rights in the climate crisis context.

​

Recently, Michelle co-led the first submission by the Psychological Society of Ireland to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child - General comment No.26 (download available here). Michelle also sits on the Psychological Society of Ireland's International Affairs Committee, is a co-opted committee member of Royal Statistical Society Northern Ireland, and serves as secretary and a founding member of the Psychological Society of Ireland's Special Interest Group in Human Rights & Psychology.
