ELP continued the rolled out its innovative Food Forest for the Future Climate Education Programme to local and regional primary schools. Through the programme, which was developed in collaboration with primary school teachers, the ELP is helping to bridge the gap which exists in building intergenerational knowledge and capacity for the future. With the success of the regional pilot, the ELP is seeking additional funding to roll the project out nationally, and has ambitions to reach over 3000 schools in the next five years, and to expand the programme to secondary schools nationwide.
